Delivery and Returns Policy
whatialwayswanted.com and all associated designers operate in accordance with the ‘The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000’.
Delivery Charges and Times:
whatialwayswanted.com encourages designers to offer free postage and packing wherever possible. However, this is not mandatory. If designers are unable to offer free postage and packing the price will be stated on each product page. All charges are for standard shipping method, unless otherwise stated. The level of service will be at least equal to Royal Mail first class postage.
Designers aim to dispatch an order within 3 working days of confirmation of an order. When this is not possible designers must state this on the product page and provide estimated delivery times for each product before the point of sale.
Unfortunately we are unable to compensate for any unforeseen delays in delivery.
Deliveries are via national reputable courier services, including Royal Mail, at the discretion of the designer. A signature is occasionally required on delivery. The designers will liaise with customers via the Website or by any other means to be determined by the designer to verify methods of delivery and delivery times.
Some of our designers are happy to ship outside the UK. This will be clearly stated on the product page. Postage and packing will therefore be calculated in line with Royal Mail. Please note that customers are responsible for any import charges/duties that may be incurred and must comply with any local regulations.
During the order process you will be given an opportunity to check and confirm the delivery details provided. Many couriers require a signature on delivery. If you indicate that a package can be left at your home or with a neighbour, this is at your own risk. Some couriers refuse to leave parcels unless signed for by the customer. We are unable to guarantee delivery in the event that you unable to receive the parcel yourself.
Returns and Refunds :
Although whatialwayswanted.com strives to deliver a high level of service we are unable to accept responsibility or liability for the condition of a product. Designers are responsible for their own products. When a Customer makes a transaction on our site they accept that they are entering into a binding agreement with the designer of the item.

Please see specific refund and returns notices that may be posted on the product page relevant to the product being purchased. Such notices shall take precedence to this general cancellation procedure. You will be given a full refund, including any initial postage charge.
